Tom Withers Architecture is an Architectural and Design business based in Congleton, Cheshire, offering a range of architectural services. Our project portfolio ranges from internal alterations, residential extension and new builds, to commercial and industrial buildings.
TOM WITHERS
Company Director
TWA was established by Tom Withers who has 20 years experience in the industry. Tom has designed a variety of projects throughout his career, ranging from small single storey residential projects, to award winning, multi million pound apartments with care schemes. Tom has a passionate and honest approach to design that is paramount in his repeat client base and recommendations.
Tom’s second passion is football and although age has now caught up with his playing days, the love for the game still lives on.
JASON CRITCHLEY
Associate Director
Jason joined the practice in the summer of 2021 following his relocation back to the UK.
Jason worked outside of the UK for 3 years, prior to that he had previously been a director of an award winning international design practice, acting as the Architectural Project Lead or Employer’s Agent/Project Manager on multi-million pound developments.
This experience means that Jason is equally comfortable developing proposals from scratch right through to managing their delivery on site and everything in between. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his family and friends, ferrying his children to various clubs and events and walking the dogs.
MAISY CLARKSON
Practice Manager
Maisy has been at Tom Withers Architecture since the beginning and is now practice manager. With a background in account and schedule management for various clients, she knows how to keep the office running smoothly.
When she’s not busy managing the day to day at TWA and liaising with clients, she’s looking after her 5 alpacas and pair of toy poodles, Alan and Nala. However, at the moment she has her sights set on completing Garde 5 piano exam.
SIMON HOLLINSHEAD
Architectural Technician
Simon joined the practice in April 2021 having previously worked for a practice who specialised in heritage, education, and residential projects.
Simon successfully completed his BSc (Honours) in Architectural Technology at Leeds Beckett University where he graduated with an upper second-class honour’s degree. He has a keen eye for detail and design whilst appreciating the challenge of how things go together.
Outside of work Simon enjoys spending time with his friends and family, he also likes to keep active, running and taking regular visits to the gym.
